The Kharkiv International Law Forum has begun

The event started on October 3 and will last for three more days. The Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union is the official partner of the Forum.

As stated in the Forum’s program, its main idea is relevant both for the legal community and for a wide range of scholars and public figures, since it is devoted to the most important social problems of our time.

The main theme of the Forum is “Law and Problems of Sustainable Development in Globalized World.” It will discuss issues such as promoting the construction of a peaceful and open society, ensuring access to justice for all, and creating just, accountable and participatory institutions of all levels.

During the Forum, UHHRU representatives talked about transitional justice

The Forum includes panel discussions, roundtables, master classes and other events. Its key speakers will be experienced politicians, government officials, Ukrainian and foreign scholars, as well as staff of international organizations, EU structural units, human rights activists, and legal business.
